HIGH AS HOPE ARTWORKS

In 2019, Andrea creates three artworks commissioned by Florence Welch to celebrate Florence + the Machine's fourth album, 'High as Hope'.

Inspired by the lyrics and themes of the album, Andrea created a series of artworks that combine Florence's aesthetics with Andrea's personal world: a mix of religious imagery, tortured and burning sacred hearts, symbolising the deep and strong emotions of the album.

The artworks are in the style of ''the embroidery series'', a set of collages that mix different types of techniques and mimic the religious work of nuns from the 1800's.
